I’m Gerald, and I’m an avid foodie. With this blog, I want to share my self-created recipes for awesome and mind-blowing food with you.

I have always loved to eat well, especially when it came to BBQ, sweets, and desserts. In early 2020 I discovered Pinterest for myself and the number of pins about food grew nearly every day. It didn’t take that long and I made my first steps with the food processor (I had really no idea about baking). But I quickly realized that making sweets and desserts yourself is not as hard as I expected. It was and still is fun.

The calm and serenity when browsing the shelves of grocery stores for ingredients and new ideas, the curiosity when tasting my freshly made dough, the joy and pride when looking at my finished dish, the thrilling moment when cutting the first slice or the excitement when taking the first bite – all these and many more moments make baking and cooking to a great adventure.

In addition to my favorite job of being a passionate dad for the two sweetest girls in the world, I have found that baking and cooking are two more things with which I gain distance and balance to my work as a software engineer.
